Volunteer opportunities

Building a movement toward active citizenship requires lots of active volunteers.  Here is how you can help:

• Member events:  Help make our quarterly member meetings insightful and inspiring as members have fun, learn about civic engagement, and help guide CCR's efforts to engage more citizens in public life;
• Community of practice:  Join the team that brings together citizen leaders to support each others' citizen engagement efforts;
• Hot-issue deliberation events:  Organize community conversations around hot/difficult public issues using the CCR public-deliberation model;
• Fundraising:  Plan great events and cultivate donors to support the mission;
• Newsletter:  Put your research and writing skills to use as we keep the community informed about local and national news and information in civic engagement;
• Social media:  Help CCR spread the word about citizen activism through via Facebook and Twitter.
